Lavender's blue
Lavender's blue dilly, dilly, lavender's green,
When I am king, dilly, dilly, you shall be queen,
Who told you so, dilly, dilly, Who told you so?
'Twas my own heart, dilly, dilly, that told me so.
Call up your men, dilly, dilly, set them to woke,
Some with a rake, dilly, dilly, some with a fork,
Some to make hay, dilly, dilly, some to thresh corn,
While you and I, dilly, dilly, keep ourselves warm.
Lavender's green, dilly, dilly, lavender's blue,
If you love me, dilly, dilly, I will love you.
Let the birds sing, dilly, dilly, and the lambs play,
We shall be safe, dilly, dilly, out of harm's way.
I love to dance, dilly, dilly, I love to sing.
When I am queen, dilly, dilly, you will be my king.
Who told me so, dilly, dilly, Who told me so?
I told myself, dilly, dilly, I told me so.
Winkum, Winkum
Winkum, winkum, shut your eye, while I sing a lullaby,
For the night is almost here, stars are flick'ring, oh so near,
And the moonlight's peeping over yonder hilltop capped with clover.
Chickens long have gone to rest, birds lie snug within their nest,
And my birdies soon will be, sleeping like a chickadee;
For with only half a try, Winkum, winkum, shut your eye.
Winkum, winkum, shut your eye, while I sing a lullaby,
For the night is almost here, stars are flick'ring, oh so near,
And the moonlight's peeping over yonder hilltop capped with clover.
Jack and Jill
Jack and Jill went up the hill
To fetch a pail of water.
Jack fell down and broke his crown,
And Jill came tumbling after.
Jack and Jill went up the hill
To fetch a pail of water.
Jack fell down and broke his crown,
And Jill came tumbling after.
Sing a Song of Sixpennce
Sing a song of sixpennce,
A pocket full of rye.
Four and Twenty blackbirds,
Baked in a pie.
When the pie was opened,
The birds began to sing.
Wasn't that a dainty dish
To set before the King?
The king was in his counting house,
Counting out his money.
The queen was in the parlor,
Eating bread and honey.
The maid was in the garden,
Hanging out the clothes,
When down came a blackbird
And pecked off her nose!
There was such a commotion
That little Jenny wren
Flew down into the garden
And put it back again!
All The Pretty Little Horses
Hush-a-bye,
Don't you cry,
Go to sleep, my little baby.
When you wake
You shall have
All the Pretty little horses.
Black and bays,
Dapples and grays,
Coach and six little horses.
Hush-a-bye,
Don't you cry,
Go to sleep, my little baby.
When you wake
You shall have
All the Pretty little horses.
Way down yonder
In the meadow,
There's a poor little lamby
Birds and butterflies
Flutter'round his eyes,
Poor wee thing cries mammy.
Hush-a-bye,
Don't you cry,
Go to sleep, my little baby.
When you wake
You shall have
All the Pretty little horses.
