生铁补镬
我小时候，经常在老家宁波看见补锅的手艺人。
锅，在我们宁波叫做镬。
补锅的一来，那悠长的吆喝声便久久地回荡在大街小巷了：
“生……铁……补……镬！”
看看有了生意，他便在巷子里摆开担子，生起炉火。一些大娘大嫂就很快从各家走出来，或是提着小的炒菜铁镬，或是抱着煮饭的大锅。
补锅的老师傅又黑又胖，穿的衣服沾满了各家的柴灰与油烟，脸也黑得像是戏里的包公。他从一边的煤筐里铲出几块煤，放到尚留着余火的煤炉上，旁边照例有一个小的风箱，拉几下，火苗就呼的窜起来了。一个小的坩埚就放在上面，然后拿出一块破镬碎块，用铁榔头砸几下，将碎片扔进坩埚，再拉几下风箱，小块的生铁在火焰之中很快就熔化了。
虽然他身上脏不拉几，但还是会系上一条更黑亮的围裙子，锅子往身上一靠，清理一下破烂的地方，待生铁完全融化后，先用一块好几层小布片饼，在上面撒些铁末子，再用一个小的勺子极快地舀了一小勺铁水倒在小布饼的铁末子上，然后立马把它从外侧贴在锅底破洞中，把破洞堵住，一边用一个湿布棍用断面从锅内侧将铁水从中间往四周一顶一抹，即使内侧铁水与破洞周围平齐，锅底外侧铁水鼓出一点没关系。这样漏水的小孔一下就补好了，再用淘锉打磨几下破洞内外，尤其是内侧要抹平，铁锅就可以再次使用了。
呵呵，“生……铁……补……镬！”多好听的吆喝声啊！
